With spring, comes new beauty and life. I love this time of year and it’s one of my favorite times seeing all the green and colorful growth come out of their sleep as well as new life emerging and the beauty of the season calls us to get outdoors again. New life, new beginnings, it’s a great feeling that warms my heart.
I’m so excited because this blog of mine, which has been a wonderful experience for me the last year and a half, is also going through a change. A new look and hopefully feel that is! My purpose, to write about “Whole Family, Whole Living”, and express my passions that fall within that, I wanted to be more visible and so it was time for a logo. Something that better expresses what this blog is all about. I hired a great friend to design exactly what I had envisioned for Progressive Homestead, and I am so pleased with the new logo!
So the story behind the logo… I think typically when people hear the word “homestead” in a blog/website title, they think it’s mainly going to be about homesteading and probably a lot of different recipes and posts about cooking. Although, Progressive Homestead is a lot about homesteading, and incorporates a lot of our farm life experiences, I feel like it is more than that. It’s about living a holistic way of life. So what exactly does that mean for Progressive Homestead?
It means that this blog is going to be about what makes me and my family happy, healthy, and whole. I will include thoughts and experiences of our adventures in homeschooling, farm life , God’s gift of nature, and anything else that speaks to me personally. My true purpose for this blog is for you, the reader, to hopefully find value in the blessings I have received and am sharing with you. I truly appreciate my readers who have continued to support me. For those readers who are new, I invite you to continue along with me on this journey of whole family, whole living.
